Across this archipelago, the light is crisp, whitewashed houses overlook the deep blue sea, and the wind is a constant presence throughout the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planning an itinerary here means choosing a particular pace, not simply arranging a sequence of transfers. A well-planned journey between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismo.eu\/en\/greek-islands\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1492\">greek islands<\/a> is not a race from one port to the next, but a islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mountainous interior is dotted with quiet villages and offers sweeping views towards the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is worth staying for at least three nights, as distances across the island are greater than on Paros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ferry from Paros to Naxos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ferry journey is short, taking approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on the operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is one of the most frequent visited at the end of the itinerary, once you have settled into the rhythm of island life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not an island known for unspoilt beaches, but for its scenery, walks along the caldera and sunsets over the Aegean Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three days are enough, particularly if you avoid the busiest part of the high season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ferry from Naxos to Santorini<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The average journey takes between one and two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services become more frequent during the summer, although the transfer is also easy to arrange in spring and September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When to take this trip<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May, June and September offer the best balance of weather, transport connections and visitor numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">July and August provide more frequent ferry services, but ports are also considerably busier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>meltemi<\/em>, the characteristic wind of the Aegean Sea, can affect ferry crossings during the summer months.
