Il più grande spazio congressuale in un hotel a cinque stelle a San Pietroburgo. È questa la nuova Grand Ballroom, operativa dalla scorsa settimana con l'inaugurazione del Corinthia Hotels completamente ristrutturato, che sorge sulla Prospettiva Nevskij e presenta, ora, 400 camere di lusso.
La struttura mette a disposizione nuove camere e più servizi meeting e diventa l'hotel a 5 stelle della città maggiormente adatto alla clientela business. La Grand Ballroom può ospitare fino a 600 delegati ed è supportata da altre 14 executive meeting room. Nel loro complesso, gli spazi meeting della struttura possono accogliere fino a 1.200 delegati.
Il Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel è stato acquistato nel 2002 da International Hotel Investments (Ihi), che ha preso anche le proprietà che sorgono accanto all'hotel e le trasformerà in altri spazi ricettivi, in apertura a fine anno. Negli ultimi due anni Ihi ha investito 100 milioni di euro per la ristrutturazione totale dell'albergo; il progetto ha previsto anche un nuovo ristorante e nuovi bar, mentre le proprietà a lato dell'albergo sono state rase al suolo e completamente ricostruite.
